50 miles down

It’s been a pleasant go so far, and the weather has been miraculously mild. I’ve been the recipient of generous trail magic 3 different times and it’s been at supremely timely. From grilled ham and cheese sandwiches to a bowl of lucky charms with real milk. The community out here is wonderful. Days have been between 7-11 miles to give my body machine time to acclimate to this new rhythm. In a similar vein I’m getting accustomed to sleeping on trail once again. This is everything I’d hope it would so far.
